A national KCBS sanctioned event 

Not a bad warm up event for 2011 - not great either. We got top ten in three categories which put us in 9th place overall.

Results out of 30 teams

• Chicken -9th place
• Ribs - 18th place
• Pork  - 10th place
• Brisket - 8th place
• Overall - 9th place
• Total contestants - 30

We thought the ribs were quite good, but the judges did not agree. We need a better process for selecting which bones go into the box. I've got some ideas for that.

So 9th place is pretty good, it's actually much better than many teams that did take walks for cash and gold, who finished below us in overall ranks. Tthe level of competition at this contest was very high.
