A national PNWBA sanctioned event

We've never done well at Morgan Hill - a home town event for us. So we went into this years contest ready to rumble.

Pork was up first and we scored 2nd place. Brisket next, and another second place! We knew our chicken was top 5 worthy, so this is really starting to look like a sure Grand Championship - our second one!

But alas, the judges hated our chicken and scored us 23rd place in chicken. That tanked our overall from 1st place to 5th place with a 9th in ribs.

Oh well, it happens to all teams, you just have to accept it and move on to the next competition. But we've seriously hit a stride that makes Too Ashamed To Name a serious team to beat at any competition we show up at.

Results out of about 45 teams

• Overall - 5th place
• Pork  - 2nd place
• Brisket - 2nd place

• Ribs - 9th place
