Defending champs, we totally failed! Coming off a failure in Bakersfield the week prior we hoped for a clearer view of where we stand. We got it all right, but unfortunately, not to the good.

Unlike Bakersfield however we do identify some improvements we can make on this weekends cook and will move forward with that as we head into mid year's BBQ competitions and head to Honey Harvest in a couple weeks.

Two top 5 finishes followed by two finishes below 10th is a bit humbling and confusing since very little has changed - oh well, that's the nature of competitive BBQ.
